Craziness

Things have been CRAZY around here! I know I've said this before, but Hannah is literally into EVERYTHING. If you can't tell by my lack of blogging, I don't have time to do anything!  I told Wes yesterday at 1:00 yesterday that all I had time to do that day was get myself dressed. The rest of the time I was chasing Hannah around and keeping her out of "danger zones." haha!

Needless to say, I haven't been too good at getting my camera out with all the chaos. However, I took it out a little last week when Marley came over to play. Hannah loves her cousins and it's so cute to see Marley and Hannah play together. They're going to be life long, best friends!

We took a break from playing to eat lunch.

After Marley finished eating I gave her this whole muffin to see what she would do with it.

She destroyed it and it was ALL OVER her..and around her. It was so funny!

Yesterday Hannah and I headed to one of Hannah's friends birthday parties while Wes stayed home to finish building our fence in the backyard. It was a gorgeous day outside and Hannah had so much fun playing with her friends!

We had a great weekend and are excited that spring weather may be here to stay!

Sometimes it seems like Hannah learns things over night. Of course we are always showing Hannah how to clap, wave and point. Well, she finally got one down consistently.

We're back!

Well, Hannah and I are back in town after spending a week at Granna's. We are now all set with a new spring wardrobe, pedicures (me, not Hannah), good food and fun memories.  This is the first time I've been back to visit my parents for an entire week since I moved away in 2002. It was a great time for all of us. 

What made it even more fun was having Aunt KK and Grayson with us all week. KK was on spring break, so we got to spend lots of time together and Hannah and Grayson had a great time! 

Grayson got this little car for Christmas, and Hannah decided to try it out for him.

Then we decided to take it outside and let Grayson have a turn with HIS toy. 

Isn't he a cutie? I can't believe how quick our babies are growing up! Hannah will be 1 in 6 weeks. WOW! 

So, believe it or not, those are the ONLY pictures I have from my week at Granna's.  We just get so busy that I forget to take out my camera. We had such a great time and are looking forward to our next extended stay!

To grandmother's house we go!

This weekend Aunt Jenn and Uncle James came in for a visit.  It seems like every time they come to town we don't do much of anything. So this time, we decided to take them to the zoo!

The trip became much more entertaining once Jenn realized she forgot her sunglasses and had to buy some at the gift shop. 

It was a fun time and Hannah seems to enjoy the zoo more and more each time.  This was Wesley's first time to the Tyler zoo! 

We had a great time with Jenn & James this weekend and hope they come back soon!

Today Hannah and I are heading to Granna's house for several days. Can't wait to get spoiled by Granna...(both of us!!)

Blog Book

As I mentioned a couple of months ago, I've really been wanting to get my blog printed.  I did some research on how to print my blog exactly as if you were sitting on the computer reading it. I mentioned this to my best friend, Ashley, a few times and she recommended I contact her brother, who is computer savvy. 

I've been working with RJ (Ashley's brother) at Strong Tower Multimedia and I received my blog book this week. 

I could not be HAPPIER! Here is a little peak inside....

This far exceeded my expectations. I sat down last night and read the entire thing from front to back. I love having our lives documented. You can't put a price on having all your memories written in a book for you. 

My first book covers 2 years, but 2010 will need to be its own book because I blog much more often now.

Wordless Wednesday

Spring is near!

Hannah's birthday is coming up and I've already started planning some things. (All of you who think I plan things too far in advance, go ahead and laugh now).  I just can't believe my baby girl with be 1 in less than 2 months and I just can't wait to celebrate her BIG day and reminisce on what that day was like a year ago...

Anyway, I picked out some birthday invitations that needs 3 photos. So, Saturday we headed to the park  to get some cute pictures. 

We had to wake Hannah up, so she looks a little sleepy in most of them.

It doesn't matter, because we aren't using these pictures for the invitation after all....

Wes got excited about having new pictures of Hannah, so he e-mailed them to more than half of the people that would be getting the invitation!!!

So, we'll be taking more that will *hopefully* remain a surprise from our family who will be getting the invitations.

I guess the upside to Wesley's accident is that I can share these with everyone else now. 

My Other Baby

Most of you know that Wes and I have a beagle named Jersey. We got her about a year after we got married and she was our first baby.  Now that we have Hannah she's been pushed to the side. 

I'm always telling Wes that we need to give her to someone with a huge yard that REALLY loves her. It's just so hard having a dog and a new baby.  But looking at sweet pictures of her like this, I don't know if I could really give her away if it came down to it.....of course, just ask me during the next thunderstorm....

Jersey is SO scared of thunderstorms and is actually on Xanax for anxiety. 

Poor Jersey girl.

Beautiful Day!

Today was a gorgeous day outside!!!! In the 60's and a great breeze to keep it from being too sweltering hot outside. Hannah and I took advantage and after having a picnic lunch with daddy at work, we headed to the zoo!

We had lots of friends join us today!! Baby Ella, Will, Shepard & Judson. So fun!

And here is proof that we were actually at the zoo...the giraffe in the background!

Can't wait for spring days everyday! We're having so much fun outside.

Winners!

Last month I posted about Regis and Kelly's beautiful baby contest. I'm sad to report, Hannah is not the winner...but to Wes and I, she is the most beautiful baby!

All very cute, but not as cute as our princess, in my opinion....but I guess I'm a little biased. haha!

My choice is either the third little girl or the last baby. They are just precious to me! Can you believe that those kiddos have the chance of winning $125,000 for their college!? What a gift!

10 months & 27 years

Today is a big day for me and Hannah. Hannah is 10 months old today, and I'm 27! I would have never guessed that at 27 I would have a precious little girl. I had always hoped of getting married and starting a family, but never did I understand the amount of joy a child would bring to my life. I'm so thankful on this birthday to be spending it with Wes and Hannah. I love my family.

So yes, Hannah is 10 months today. I can't believe in just a couple more months my fingers will be typing 1 year...let's not go there yet...

At 10 months, Hannah is....

• Crawling EVERYWHERE
• Pulling up and starting to cruise around furniture
• Not so interested in table food, but loves her baby food
• Wearing size 2 diapers
• Nursing 3 times a day
• Sleeping about 12 hours at night, but consistently waking up at least once
• Not interested in real toys anymore, but loves getting into things she shouldn't
• Interacting with other kids
• Learning how to share
• Learning the word "no"
• Saying "dada" all the time...not "mama" so much (sad!)
• Weighing in at 17 pounds (14th %)
  
• Starting to recognize words
  
• Adorable as ever
