A thank you to Daddy

Dear Daddy,

       Thank you so much for working so hard so that mommy can stay at home with me full-time. We have so much fun together every day. 

I love all my trips to the zoo, the park, and playdates. I love that on my cranky days I get to stay in my pj's all day and cuddle on the couch with mommy.

I'm so glad mommy doesn't have to wake me up in the mornings because when y'all do that on Sunday for church, I don't seem to do so well. I promise I will get better, but I just love my sleep. 

I sure miss you during the day, but I know that someone has to work so I can eat my beloved chicken nuggets and watch Mickey Mouse every now and then. 

So, thank you, Daddy. I think mommy enjoys being home with me a little bit, too.

Halloween Week

As you probably read on Aunt Jenn's blog, they went to the pumpkin patch last Saturday. Hannah had loads of fun and was so tired when she got home! Jenn spoils Hannah like crazy and bought her an adorable spider bow. Well, I hadn't bought Hannah a Halloween shirt, so on Monday we went on a mission to find one so she could wear her cute bow.

So if you see Hannah this week, she will most likely have this shirt on. I plan to wash it everyday and put it on her just about every day this week!

Bubbles

Saturday

We LOVE having daddy home all day on Saturdays. Even though our days are usually packed with things to get done, we still manage to have a fun time around here. This past Saturday we spent lots of time outside because the weather was so nice!

I love Hannah's hair in pig tails. I would do it like this everyday, but it usually takes some bribing to get her to sit still for long enough for me to do it.

Wes washed and waxed my car! It is so nice driving a clean car! And Hannah was daddy's little helper.

Our little monkey climbed up on the fireplace to try daddy's shoes on.

And to top off the great day, Wes had to run to Lowe's for something and when he came home he had a WONDERFUL surprise for Hannah and I.  He brought home some roses for each of us! Hannah got pink and I got yellow ones with orange tips. SO PRETTY!!

Fun Filled Friday!

This past Friday Wes got off work and was heading out to go camping.  Before doing so,we took a quick trip to the pumpkin patch.  We had a great time. 

We tried to get some good pictures with Hannah, but she was way too interested in sliding. 

Hannah loved all the small pumpkins that she could pick up by herself.

And finally....the slide!

We had a fun quick trip, and it won't be our last of the season.

Aunt Jemima

A few days ago I was getting Hannah's milk out of the fridge. Hannah took a fascination to the syrup bottle.

So, she took it out and I asked her who that was on the bottle. And without hesitating she said: "DADDY!"

I don't really see the resemblance, but she's pretty insistent. I told her to give daddy kisses and she proceeded to kiss the syrup bottle. Too funny. I got a video on my phone, but I can't download it in the right format to post.

Hilarious! 

Spaghetti

Hannah absolutely loves spaghetti. It's the only meal that I feel like she really gets super full after eating. She likes other things, but not like she likes spaghetti. 

I cooked some last night and this morning I had the fridge open. Well, I went to her room to get her clothes and when I came back, this is what I saw.

Rain, Rain - Go Away!

Monday was a horribly rainy day.  Since Hannah's favorite place to be is outside, this wasn't a good day for us.  We were cooped up inside all day, so we tried to be creative.  

We started with stickers.

Then we moved on to watching home movies on the computer.

Then lunch. 

And every day, rain or shine, includes playing with her babies. I would say that's her favorite thing to do these days. Can you tell?

Recently I started putting bubbles in Hannah's bath. She LOVES it and all day long says: "bubbles, bubbles." So instead of giving her a bath when she didn't need one, I filled up the sink and let her go to town.

She had a blast.

And even though I was trying really hard to not let her get too wet...we ended up having to change clothes when it was over!

We made the best of a dreary day around here! 

Little Break

Well, looks like I'm going to take a little blog break. Every picture I upload comes in sideways. I've tried restarting my computer and that doesn't work. So, until my Blogger is fixed, I won't be posting anything. Hopefully it won't be long.

Dirt

We have had some really nice days lately, so we've decided to spend lots of time in the backyard.  And despite mommy telling Hannah that girls don't play in dirt, Hannah has rebelled and done it anyway!
