Ethan is 2!

My baby is 2 today!!  This little guy keeps our house on our toes and constantly laughing.  He's at such a fun age and I'm so blessed to be his momma!

Ethan loves all things BOY.  He's the first to spot a mud puddle and jump straight in it.  He loves balls, trucks and dirt.  Ethan has an obsession with tools and mechanical things.  If we visit friends, he's sure to find their lawn mower and climb all over it.  Pretty sure he gets that from his daddy!

This boy is a daddy's boy! He can't wait for daddy to get home from work and asks about him multiple times a day.  If Wes is home, Ethan is right by his side.

Ethan attends Mothers Day Out once a week and he does really well.  It's so cute to peek in on him and watch him interact with his friends.  He really is a sweet little guy and I often see him sharing with his friends....but I also see his personality really starting to develop and if you have something he wants, you better watch out!!  Hannah and Ethan play really well together, but they fight really well too.

Ethan loves TV and his favorite movies are Cars and Toy Story.  He's always saying "Mater, McQueen" or "Woody, Buzz." It amazes us that he has such a natural instinct to love boy things. 

He's constantly flying an airplane through the air or crashing motorcycles into the wall.  He loves tractors, jeeps, motorcycles and monster trucks the most. He spots all these things on the road when we see them and anytime he sees an 18 wheeler he says: "look mommy, Mack!" (from Cars) 

Ethan's vocabulary has exploded.  He talks in phrases and we understand 95% of what he says all the time.  It's so nice understanding most everything he says.  He's much happier now that we know what he wants. 

At 2 years Ethan:

• Is 34 inches tall (38%)
• Wears size 3 diapers
• Wears  18 month tops
• Wears 6-9 month shorts
• Knows all animal sounds
• Knows all body parts
• Points out some colors
• Loves books
• Very attached to pacifier and puppy
• Sleeps with a pillow
• Loves outdoors and water
• Loves to say "ready, set go!"
• Likes animals 
• Not afraid of touching bugs
• Is a pretty good eater 
• Plays well alone and with others
• Tells me when he needs to potty, but I don't listen. Not ready for potty training yet - ha!
• Loves dancing

This little guys has my heart.  He's such a sweet, cuddly, sweet guy.  He has such a sweet spirit.  Our prayer is that he would know the Lord early and be a leader. I just adore him....and he knows it.
