Readers

I follow Kelly's Korner blog, and to be honest, I'm not really sure why. I don't know her at all, and neither do most of her followers. She's just a good writer and I can relate to most of what she blogs about. Anyway, a couple of weeks ago she asked EVERYONE who follows her blog to leave a comment. Even the lurkers. haha. I think she had 1800 comments. Can you believe that?

Now, I want to hear from YOU! I'd just like to know who all I'm sharing my life with. I'll be happy to hear that there are other people besides grandparents that read!

Click on comment below and let me know you are reading. You don't have to have a blog to post a comment.

I mean really, who could resist not visiting my blog when there are adorable pictures posted?

Trip 2...

Hannah and I made our second trip to the zoo!!

We bought a zoo membership so that we can go as much as we want to for a one time fee. So, expect many more pictures of our adventures to the zoo in the future. Obviously I realize Hannah is too young to enjoy the zoo, but it's good exercise for mommy...and gets me out of the house!

Sweet Cheeks

People are always commenting on Hannah's BIG cheeks! Always saying how they want to squeeze them or I've had sarcastic remarks like: "It's a shame she doesn't have any cheeks on her." My mom says she stores everything in her cheeks. As precious and sweet and pinchable as these cheeks are....

My favorite cheeks of hers are the ones behind this lady bug!!

I pinch these much more often. haha!

What is Happening?!

Has anyone noticed something different or wrong with my past few blog posts? Anything missing? Take another look....Hannah is not wearing a bow in the last 12 pictures I have posted of her!! The truth is (to my mom's disbelief) Hannah doesn't wear a bow when we aren't leaving the house, and since it has rained pretty much every day for 2 weeks, all the pictures I've taken of her have been inside on our lazy days.

As you can see from the picture above, Hannah loves snuggling up with something to fall asleep. I just wish SOMETIMES she would want to snuggle up to me. When she's sleepy, she just wants to be put down and left alone. Makes me sad!

Meet our new friend.....

The exersaucer! Hannah loves sitting in this (for short times) and playing with all the toys that are attached to it. Since we haven't been leaving the house much lately, I was so glad to have a new toy to occupy her for a little while. Her feet don't reach the bottom, so our friend Leslie gave us the idea of using books. Wonderful idea!

Pictures

Monday night Wes watched Hannah while I went to a 12th grade girls accountability group. While I was gone Wes took some adorable pictures of Hannah. Don't blame him for not putting a bow in. He's learning. haha.

Although Hannah is the cutest baby there ever was, she just doesn't smile for the camera! Usually if we catch a big smile it's on accident. When we squeal and make funny faces to get her to smile, she just looks blank.

Love this little girl!

Randomness

This weekend we went camping. It was a disaster. It poured, and mommy and baby were not happy. Luckily, we weren't planning on spending the night to begin with (just went to hang out with all our friends). Right about the time it was time to eat dinner, it started pouring and Hannah DID NOT like it. I don't blame her. I often think I'm going to melt when it starts raining, so she must get that from me. haha. When we were sitting there outside waiting for the rain to come, one of our friends made the comment that he felt like we were the people that didn't evacuate for hurricane Katrina. haha. It was so windy and we were all just sitting out there trying to camp. HILARIOUS.

Waiting on Daddy to get home to go camping.

Hannah has loved playing with toys lately. She reaches for things and loves feeling new toys...especially with her mouth.

Almost every time Hannah is laughing and smiling I grab my camera and try to capture one of her huge smiles, but she just stares at my camera and looks at me as if I'm nuts. This picture still turned out cute even without a smile!

Hannah loves her bath time, too. I'm looking forward to when she can splash and play!

So, what is a mommy to do when her baby is BEGGING to have her ears pierced and daddy says "not yet?" Many people think that Hannah's too young, and I do agree that she's too young right now, but within the next 3 months I would LOVE to get her ears pierced. I just think it's so adorable on little babies, although many people have shared with me that it's way too early and I should wait until she really asks, but just take a look at this video....what am I to do? What do you think?

Well Check

Hannah had her 4 month well check yesterday, which included a round of vaccinations. I hate that! It's so sad to see her so happy and smiley one second and then crying so hard the next second. Poor baby girl. Although she had a melt down, I held it together this time. haha.

Hannah weighs 13.1 pounds and is 25 inches long. This puts her in the 32nd percentile for her weight and 76th for her height. If you don't know what the percentile's mean, basically if you lined up 100 kids, Hannah would weigh more than 32 of them and be taller than 76 of them. That's how our doctor explained it to us.

Last week Hannah found her feet!! She loves pulling on them and I think they're going to find their way to her mouth pretty soon. Yesterday morning Wes was getting ready to leave for work (I was still sleeping) and found Hannah wide awake in her crib pulling on her toes. So cute! Have I mentioned we have the best baby in the world...who lets mommy sleep in? haha!
