Well, the results are in. The public has voted and it looks like I'll be chopping my hair off! I had 25 votes for chop it off and only 9 for growing it out. I'm curious, who thinks I should grow it out? All the comments I got were mostly people saying to chop it.
So the rest of this post is going to contain LOTS of pictures. The grandparents should love it. I also want to apologize for only ever having pictures of Hannah. I know some of you don't have kids and would probably like to see other aspects of our lives other than just our little girl, but the truth is, she is our world right now. We don't do much of anything without her!
So here is our life the past few weeks, with lots of random pictures.
When Hannah was a little, little baby I had a ton of pictures of her sleeping. Now I wouldn't dare try to attempt to get a picture of her sleeping with the risk of waking her up. Well, the other morning I actually needed to wake her up to go somewhere and so I was able to get a picture of her snoozing. It was so precious! I miss the days of just sitting over her crib watching her sleep.
Hannah loves mocking everything we do. She puts the phone up to her ear, combs her hair and has recently started to put sunglasses on her head. She doesn't keep them on for long, but as soon as they come off she's trying to put them back on.
Jersey isn't as fond of the idea.
This weekend we decided to take the boat out for the first time this season. In order to do that, we had to get Hannah geared up. We went life jacket shopping and she was not a fan. Babies in life jackets are so sad. Their little cheeks get so smushed. We were cracking up, though and I had to take some pictures!
After getting what we needed, we headed to the lake. It was a fun time for our little family. We hope Hannah grows up to love the lake as much as we do. No pictures on the boat. I was too busy hanging on to her. I was a little paranoid, even with the life jacket.
I got Hannah a little purple dress at Tyler's huge consignment sale in April. My sister actually picked it out. It came with this little bonnet. What do you think about it? I can't decide if it's cute or homely. haha! I tried it on her during breakfast, so ignore the cereal on the face!
On Mother's Day Wes let me take a WONDERFUL 2 hour nap. Oh how I miss the days of our long Sunday naps. Wes quickly learned that Hannah loses interest in things really quickly, so he got creative and set up a tent in our living room! Hannah loved it, but of course, it only lasted a short while until she was on to something else.
My blue eyed girl...I'm staring to think they may stay blue! That would be crazy since Wes and I both have hazel eyes.
Of course I think Hannah is the most adorable thing on earth - all the time. But do you ever just look at your baby and think, wow...they are just gorgeous?! The other morning when she was eating breakfast I had that thought and took some pictures....don't you agree? She's my little angel baby!
On Tuesday we had Hannah's 12 month well check. She weights 18.8 pounds (10th percentile) and is 28 inches long (27th percentile) We were surprised to find out she was in a lower percentile. She seems so big compared to her cousin, Marley. My mom calls Marley her little bag of popcorn. She's so tiny!
And lastly...if you've actually kept reading until now....Hannah's hair is getting so long. I thought it was time to try a pony tail. I think it's still a little too soon....and Hannah certainly didn't like the idea!!
So now I feel better that all the pictures are posted and off my camera. I hope it didn't bore you too much.
