Wow, Hannah is already 3 months old. It's amazing how time flies. I have loved every second of being a mommy. It's been so fun and so rewarding. As you can see, we have a very happy baby!
So, what does a 3 month old do? Well, Hannah loves to suck on her hands. Her hands seem to find their way to her mouth anytime there is no paci in. By the way, her paci is her best friend. She loves to stare at the ceiling fan and sit in her bouncy seat. She loves getting dressed up in girly outfits and wearing matching flower bows (maybe mommy likes that, but Hannah doesn't complain - ha!) And as you can tell from the picture above, Hannah has been enjoying her bumbo! She's sleeping about 7 - 8 hours at night, which is wonderful for mommy! Another activity she's recently been interested in is watching baby Einstein. Not sure if her eyes are seeing something I'm not, but she loves it! We're looking forward to the days that she has a little bit better head control and can enjoy her exersaucer and her jumpy thing that goes in the doorway (what's that called?).
Below are more pictures our our sweet little girl (mainly for the grandparents' enjoyment). What a blessing she is!

Creative Friends
Somehow I don't have a creative bone in my body. My mom can sew, monogram, paint and do just about anything else you could think of. These genes were not passed on to me or my sister. Luckily, I have lots of creative friends!
My friend Dara is an AMAZING graphic designer. She has made me things for Hannah's room and also did Hannah's birth announcements. (below). Amazing, right? You can click here to see more of her work. Her site is called "a rad design" - "a rad" is her name spelled backwards. That shows how creative she is...I would never think of that :)

My best friend Ashley has also just taken on sewing. Click here to see her site. She makes custom burp clothes that make wonderful baby gifts for girls or boys. She just decided one day she was going to start sewing, and it actually worked! ha. I decided I was going to start sewing one day and my creation ended up in the trash. ha.

Lastly, my friend Lexi is an amazing seamstress, painter, etc. She can pretty much make anything you would ever need for a baby/toddler. She makes adorable outfits for her little girl and also makes wraps, breastfeeding covers, boppy covers, baby bedding,
etc. Click here to see her site.
I have lots of other creative friends that make curtains, table cloths, etc., but these are the only ones that sell all their fun stuff. Check them out!

Adorable babies!
I always tease Wes and ask him why he has so many hobbies and I have....none! He builds things, plays bass guitar, loves wakeboarding, works on cars, and the list goes on. One hobby he has picked up within the past few years is photography. He got a really nice camera this past year, and I'm so glad he did. Here are some pictures he took of Hannah and Marley recently. Of course, when your subjects are this cute, it's hard to not take a good picture. ha!
(P.S. -Marley has on the brown hat and Hannah has on the pink...both made by Granna, of course!)

This weekend
This weekend Uncle James and Aunt Jenn came to visit Hannah....and us, I guess! ha. We had a fun weekend on the lake and visiting. I got on the boat for the first time this summer. It was so fun to wakeboard again! I was reminded quickly that I'm still not good, but it's still fun. And I also realized how out of shape I am....I'm still sore! Hannah stayed with our friends, Vance and Nicole. After taking Hannah to the lake a couple of weekends ago, we realized that it's easier to do it without her, unless you have an entourage of people to help you! Below are some pictures from the weekend. Fun times!

Lake Day!
Well, Hannah and I finally made it to the lake with Daddy for the first time this summer! We went a few weeks ago for a Sunday School party, but we never even saw the lake...we just stayed inside the conference center in the air condition. So, we loaded up all our gear and met Christie, Justin, Carter, London and Marley. Although Hannah slept through most of it, I think she had fun. ha! And, she got to wear her new bathing suit, which matches Marley's. Here are some pictures of our fun day!

Blessings
I have felt incredibly blessed lately, so I thought I would share why….
I have a wonderful husband! I’ve known this for years, but as we approach 5 years of marriage, I can’t help but think how much he has enriched my life. He’s so patient, kind and loving…and he’s an awesome daddy to our precious little girl….which brings me to another blessing…Hannah . She continues to learn new things and she’s such a gift to us. She slept through the night last night. I feel like a new woman today! It’s the first time in 10 weeks that I’ve slept an entire night. It feels so good! You really can’t explain the love you have for your child. You truly have to experience it. Also, many of you know that our sweet puppy (our first child), Jersey, had a very traumatic experience due to fireworks on the 4th of July, and she almost didn’t make it. Well, we got to bring her home from the vet today and it’s going to be a slow process, but it looks like she’s going to be OK. It’s incredible to me that God cares so much about me that he spared the life of my sweet dog. I was a mess thinking she may not make it through. Wesley and I both have wonderful parents, grandparents, siblings and nieces and nephews (hurry up, Grayson!). We truly are blessed and are so thankful to serve a Lord who cares so much about us and continually pours out His blessings on us.
This week Wesley attended the annual Volunteer Christian Builders trip. It was in Woodville this year, which is just an hour from where my parents live, so Hannah and I headed to my mom’s for a crafty weekend….which also included shopping and pedicures, of course! I’m horrible at taking pictures most of the time, so below are just some random pictures of Hannah, since a blog entry without pictures is no fun!
